KCL has also supported the National Environment Trust Fund (NETFUND) to establish and operationalize the Green Innovation Award in Kenya. Key services provided included the award design, call for application, judging, advisory services to the selected entities, and seed financing. The award received over 6,000 applications and resulted in the commercialization of over 100 SMEs. More about this is available on
